Not a good idea to just increase your Prozac. As to getting a Pet, RRR has said many times pets are not allowed where she lives. The " boyfriend " just appears at her door with passionette kisses sure he needs her to get up at 5a and take his 7 yr. Old son to school. RRR, the grammer school is within walking distance go volunteer there. You are 57 not 17. He is just not interested in you the way you want him to be. You have discussed this with his family. So move on.Would you really want someone that keeps what my mother use to refer to as Vampire Hours, and has multiple medications for multiple health problems volunteering at an elementary school?
It's my experience that schools are selective in whom they allow in their building and interact with children.
You all don't know me and what I am capable of..........even with a head injury I am smart.......and I was very smart before this injury..........it is so easy to post slamming me when everyone has some kind of issue........I am responsible and will be taking care of my grandbaby if she comes to visit next month and I will do a good job and I help with my boyfriends child and I am cautious and do a good job. Also that getting up at 5am was only for two weeks........I don't do it anymore.......and guess what he is still my boyfriend.
You define yourself by your head injury. Most people do not want to be labelled by any disability, but you do. It is your prime excuse for not wanting to do anything with your life except try and illicit sympathy from strangers when you have exhausted everyone that was in your life. Millions of people are ill and/or have some sort of disability. Yet they live a productive life. You don't have to "work" at a job to be a productive member of society.

Yes, you are. OP stated she had broken up with him after she complained about the lack of hugs and hand holding and he said he was tired of hearing about it. She also said his family called her and told her she was wonderful and it was all his fault.

Hope life is going well for you, RRR.
Thank you for the posts everyone and thank you BlueCollarBabe..........I am a bit down........talking to my former boyfriend but he is not affectionate and I don't know if I can settle with that. We went the the ball game and then to breakfast the next day and no hugs, no kiss and no holding hands.......why then did he come to my door on Wednesday and kiss me like crazy and say he was sorry? Who knows but I feel very lonely..........I need a pet and my fish is ok but not enough......all and all I am feeling somewhat better but still taking my medicine that caused my weight gain. It is 12:20 am and I have no desire to go to sleep but I guess I will try..........I am still blessed and thankful but with no job, can't work, no pet, no grandchild around, no family around...........I feel totally lost and alone.........and I don't know how to pick myself up this time. I am tired mentally and really depressed or deeply sad and I guess I need to up my Prozac.
Looks like between 10:00 last night and 4:30 today he went from being a former boyfriend to current boyfriend.

Or more money to add to the debt pile OP said she accumulated spending money on this man...saying it would take many months to pay it off. No wonder he came back, planted a big wet one on her...he has no money and OP is being used for money and a babysitter.
