Well, we still have it. I am so tired I cant even think straight anymore. Well, older female ShihTzu girl is holding her own so far. 13 yr old chow chow is not feeling good at all. Poor baby he is just laying around sleeping & has teary eyes & sneezing, coughing. Hard to give him his meds since he isnt eating right now. New little rescue is about the same. Still coughing & hacking. But he eats good & plays. Went to vet on wed. he took 2 off antibiotics for a little while. (they have both been on them straight for 3 wks.) Now giving them Benedryl. We all sleep with vaporizer on which seems to help a lot. Vet said we could put them all together since they all have it now. But they have been seperated so long the 7 lb male rescue is trying to fight the 75lb chow chow! Seems no winning right now. We seem to be in a no win situation. Sister came this weekend & wanted to take the little rescue home with her & her kids for the next 2 wks while she is out for school break, she works at school. DH wouldnt hear of it. Said the little guy would think he is getting dumped again! He probably is right. But he isnt the one getting up @ 5 or 6 every morning after working till 11 the night before. I could have sure used a break & she has no dogs & doesnt live close to anyone who does, has a fenced back yard. But I dont want to tramatize the little dog. Am off for the next couple of days. Maybe can get some rest. Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts & words. Just thought I would let everyone know how everything is going. I know it will get better I guess I just wish it would hurry up!! Keep saying the "Serenity Prayer" over & over to myself!! LOL The little guy is such a sweet heart, I am still glad he is here with us. Wish I could post a pic of him. Do they let you do that here anymore? Ok I tried to post pic. Hope it came thru ok......
