As you draw closer and closer to God, you won't have to tell anyone because it will show in your face. Lord, teach me Your ways as I am ready and let Your love and peace flow through me even in my difficult moments. Scripture for the day: "O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me." ~Psalm 30:2 Meditation for the day: According to our varying needs, so do we think of God. It is not necessary that we think of God as others think of God, but it is helpful if we think of God as supplying what we personally need. The weak need God's strength. The strong need God's tenderness. The tempted and fallen need God's saving grace. The righteous need God's compassion for sinners. The lonely need God as a friend. The fighters for righteousness need a leader in God. We may find help from God in all these areas. When we turn to God for help, God's help is available to us. Prayer for the day: I pray that I may think of God as supplying my needs. I pray that I will bring all my problems to God for help in meeting them. Hello my friends! Today's blessings were knowing Ron is feeling much better, and he talked to Lori a long time today (her beloved Godfather). I have no idea whatsoever though what is happening with seeing my responses or even the responses I left. It is so frustrating that if that continues, I don't know what will become of this thread. I have deleted cookies, and still nothing works. I am thinking I can send this out, but won't be able to see any responses. I did once, and answered them, but they didn't show on the thread, so I posted them separately. Maybe just another glitch? We shall wait and see. Maybe we need to all be on the email version again? Faith Of A Mustard Seed "...He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you..." - Matthew 17: 20 It only takes a little faith! We often think of ourselves not having much faith. We look at others and think they have a lot more faith. But Jesus said here that even if we had faith as small as a mustard seed we could do incredible things in God – nothing will be impossible, because with God all things are possible. We can speak to our mountains and conquer them with our faith firmly placed in God. Don't limit yourself. Take your mustard seed of faith today, and see what God can do. It only takes a little bit of faith To conquer the mountains that we have in our lives! Don't try, excessively, to heal your heart, as your efforts would only make it more infirm. Don't make too great an effort to overcome your temptations, as this violence would only make them stronger. Despise them and don't dwell on them too much. Do good everywhere, so that everyone can say: "This is a son of Christ." Endure tribulation, sickness and pain for the love of God and for the conversion of poor sinners. Defend the weak, console those who weep. Don't worry about taking up my time, because the time best spent is that spent in the sanctification of souls, and I don't know how to thank our Heavenly Father when He presents me some souls that I can help in some way.
