Wedding....chicken or chicken/beef?

My son's wedding is being a catered by a nice BBQ restaurant.

The catering options are chicken or chicken/tri-tip steak combo.

My son is wanting to do chicken only, but I feel they need both, although that raises the price.

Any thoughts on just chicken as the entree?
