My son is getting married and consequently there will be a rehearsal dinner that my husband and I will be hosting. My son tells me that he and his fiance want to send out printed invitations to this dinner(???) I have never heard of anything so ridiculous. The rehearsal dinner is for the bridal party, the parents of the bride and groom, immediate family and maybe a "lone out-of-town guest" with no place to go. Invitations to this, in my opinion, should be word of mouth. I was told "this is NOT the 70's, Mom." What's going on here? Anyone else have this problem?
