Still warm and sunny (and a bit humid) on the Florida Gulf coast, but that’ll change in the next few days. The talking weather heads on one of the Sarasota TV stations are forecasting “frigid” temps in the low 60’s. Makes me laugh every time. I’m getting ready to head north for a bit anyway. My down sweater is stuffed in the front pocket of my suitcase so I can grab it before I go outside when I get there.

Brrrrrrr, the big chill has finally arrived.  We were warned it was coming but when it slaps you in the face, it's a shock.  The Southeast part of NM, dry, warm desert is due to get snow Wednesday night.  I'll get to wear my new jacket!

It's about time!  We just had the warmest November in our state's recorded history! Woman LOL

Sunday I was sitting out on my back deck in a t-shirt and crop pants.  Our temps were about 50 yesterday but actually got warmer as the night went on. They said at midnight it was 60.

However, as the day goes on today, temps are supposed to drop and we are supposed to be in a cold spell for the next several weeks and they are talking about snow starting Thursday over the course of several days.

I don't live in the snowbelt of Ohio or even the secondary snowbelt so I doubt we'll get much of anything. We've already had a snow that totally covered our deck but it melted right away.

Temp is 27 degrees but feels like 13 degrees with 35 mph wind gusts. We are under a wind advisory until 6pm. It is also snowing here in WI.

It's been in the 50's and 60's in Chicago the last few days.  Last night the wind was awful.

It's supposed to get really cold here and I'm not looking forward to that.  I hate bundling up and wearing a coat.  Ugh...

We're under a wind advisory until 6 pm tonight.  All my outside decorations are a mess.

@Bri36 the wind has been crazy here too.  I woke up this morning thinking for sure all my holiday decorations on the porch would be toppled over.  To my surprise they were all fine.

We have those huge company issued garbage and recycling cans and both of those were knocked over on their side. And those things are heavy plus they had garbage in them!

@Lipstickdiva, tonight is our garbage night.   Hopefully the wind will calm down by the time we put the garbage out.   We have those big cans too with the lid.   They’re heavy, but still blow over sometimes

I saw a truck today with a blade on it. The weatherperson is talking about getting snow this weekend but I didn't think we were going to get that much.
