Weather can be strange

A rain shower, then the sun burst out and it is still raining in my front yard, but not the back yard. It just fascinates me. I'm waiting for a rainbow.

Your story reminds me of the day I was driving and it was raining hard on my car, but no where else! It was raining so hard, it was difficult to see the road, but the sun was out and no other cars were in rain, only me. LOL.

I hope you get a rainbow.

When we were in Santa Fe at the end of April, one morning we had all of the weather patterns. I have never seen anything like it. We left our hotel for breakfast and the sun was shining with a light breeze, almost like September, with such crisp air. As we walked out of breakfast to our cooking classes, it started raining. Then hail, sleet, snow, thunder, lightning. I was expecting temps in the high 60's to low 70's on April 29.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

I remember the weather here in NE going back to the 1940's. Ain't changed a bit during these many decades. One word was and still is: unpredictable

When I was a little girl I remember being fascinated by it raining on my side of the street and the sun shining on the other side of the street. Not for nothing, the other side of the street was the city block on which a church, school, rectory, nun house, etc stood. Hmmmmmm

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

That's New Mexico for you. Today in Albuquerque it was warmer than usual for the Balloon Fiesta. No one would believe that when I went out to meet an ambulance at 1:30 AM at work Friday morning it was snowing. Light, but still snow.
