I am north of Pittsburgh and so far have about 10 inches.   My neighbor shoveled my sidewalk for me, but it looks like it was not even touched.  No vehicles on the road.  Still snowing really hard.

@CelticCrafter  and @meallen616               We are also in New Jersey.   The forecast calls for at least 8 inches of snow.  The highest daytime temperature this week will be tomorrow at 29 degrees.   The rest of the daytime highs for the week will between 22 and 25 degrees.   The nighttime lows will be between 8 and 13 degrees.  So this snow will not be going anywhere anytime soon.

It started to snow abt 1 am  at my home.

Been out three times this am shoveling  around garage . front door and basement. Cleaned off cars . Placed those windshield covers on all 3 vehicles yesterday in preparation.  We had 6 inches as of 9am . It's been  snowing, sleeting and even  icy rain , although it's stayed abt 17 degrees . Have made preparations incase we loose electrical service which happens alot where I live .

Propane tanks  were  sold out in my area , however we had already planned ahead  for our gas  outdoor grill.

Sleeting and icy in upstate SC around Greenville, Spartanburg area.  Very cold with a bit of wind.  Power still on for now and I am very thankful for that.  We have gas logs.  I charged everything I could get my hands on yesterday, including my Red Light mask, NIRA Pro+ and HairMax (and of course all electric tooth brushes).   Gotta keep my "beauty" treatments going as long as possible.  Makes me feel more normal if I can do so.

We have 6 shelters in the area offering heat shelter for those in need so we try to be as independent as possible so those resources are used by those who need them   most.  Put extra hay in the barn and in the pasture for the goat and donkey.

I enjoy hearing how other posters here are doing.

North of Pittsburgh also.  Only getting into the teens all week, so,it won't be melting.  I did the sidewalk, our driveway will be in small spurts several times today.  It's fluffy, but heavy since we have about 9-10" already.  It does look like it should stop around midnight according to TWC.  Stay safe.  Take breaks!

CT been snowing since about 7 am...I live further south along the shoreline, I'm up toward RI staying at our casino hotel for a few days, in case we lose power as we often do...we booked this just in case. Plus, there's at least some things to do up here while hunkered down vs. home...so I'm grateful we had points & status to get free rooms and that there was one available.

It started in our town before here by a few hours.

As for how it looks 34 floors up....as I look out the wiindow now...one gray blur. There's a river below that looked icy on the top of it this morning. Only about 10 degrees. First hours of snow there were already 4 accidents on the roads reported. Lots of cancellations and closures of the restaurants up here. Somehow we got a reservation tonight at one of them...many of the others are closed. I'm sure the help isn't expected to come into work.

I hope everyone stays safe, warm and has what they need for the next few days. I hope you/we keep power too. Already many reports across the country of power loss.

Amazing to me the span of this storm...across so many states, from west to east, north to south.

Getting buried here too in CT and the dog ( while she has plenty of fur and furry paws), is a baby and doesn't like it... wahhhhhh. Yeah, a cold week ahead, no melting- As long as no power outage, 🙏🙏 then can't complain. But This winter so far sure is a pain!

BALTIMORE area here.

the snow turned over to sleet around 10:00am ish.

i am more worried about the ice than the snow.

the roads around us are covered.

we got about 7 inches total in snow. that was not too bad.
