Glad you like your new home. Sounds a lot more peaceful than the apartment with the hammering lady next door.

LOL, yes! And from what I understand, she is still at it. She called the police with a missing persons report because she hadn't seen one of the women in the building (who was on vacation).

I feel very sorry for her, I really do, but glad not to be living next door to her anymore. Why she's still there I will never know. It must have something to do with tenant laws.

Thank you for your kind wishes, AuntG.

Today also happens to be my wife's birthday. I won't say her age, but I will say she is now on Medicare! My best to you and much happiness to you and yours in your new home.

Thank you so much hckynut, that was such a sweet thing for you to say!

Also happy birthday to your wife. Would her name happen to be Cindy? LOL. I just realized that is who the puppy dog card was meant for!!

Re: We moved and it's a beautiful day

So happy for you Ford! I can feel your happiness right through my screen. Just making the decision, finding a place, and actually executing the move must have been really heavy. Also, always being worried about your daughter, and not being near her. Big stressor's.

This move is actually good for all of you. Not only that one daughter you moved in with, but also for your other 2. They know now that neither their Mom or their sister is alone and struggling. This move will lighten up the whole family!

As sort of an off-topic to moving, but in line with your daughter's health, have either of you ever heard of bee venom therapy?

There is a Facebook page on it, and also lots of talk about it on some Lyme FB pages. I guess just Googling it would be a start?

I have a friend who is as sick as your daughter. She paid out of pocket to send her blood to a lab that specializes in testing for ALL strains of bacteria that are known to be associated w Lyme. Excellent lab. Then she spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars of taking antibiotics (all different kinds of antibiotics, because Lyme has so many kinds of bacteria strains breeding everywhere) through a pic line. (IV).

She had pretty good results with that, except she hit a plateau and just couldn't her Lyme into remission.

She heard about bee venom therapy (which, as I read about it, many people use for all sorts of ailments) and she did all her research, got approval from her LLMD, and has now started it.

I don't know if she has any improvements yet, as she just started recently, but I thought of your daughter the second I heard what her next plan of attack was. Lots of buzz on the Internet about BVT.

Hope this is info you get to research, and see if it is something that would help. It is not expensive. You actually buy the bees and they ship them according to a "sting schedule" (I know, sounds weird, but I am fascinated by it now!)

Back on topic, the move is over. I am so very happy for you and your daughters. Smile

Boy John, are you so right! Mental peace is so huge. Not having mental peace makes physical problems 100 times harder to deal with.

You are always so insightful. Smile

Happy Birthday to....Cindy (right?), please say yes, that is her name. LOL!

Wow, I will certainly bring this to her attention. She wanted to stop researching every single day when we realized we had to get ready for this move. Once we are settled, I am sure she will start again. We both have a Lyme newsfeed via Facebook, so we get to see all the latest news. She will be seeing her Lyme doctor next week for her monthly appointment. She showed improvement last month and I am hoping she will show more improvement this month. At least now she will have enough cash without our help and I feel that has brought her much relief.

Thank you so much for your informative post, and your good wishes!! Smile
