Actually, the prints, now over sixty years old, have darkened. Lovely, though depicting Indians burdened with the weight of hugh clay pots roped to a back, or the struggle to lift oneself under the weight of an enormous basket of flowers.

It sounds wonderful, Ford ... more importantly, you sound as if a weight has been lifted ... I feel the vibes.

Enjoy you new place with your lovely daughter.

Yes, a huge weight has been lifted, and I am not surprised that you can feel my relief because it's pouring out of me. Thank you so much.

And thank you missy as well! Smile

I will look them up. The fact is they were your mom's and I would keep them up forever.

ETA: I saw that one listed in his famous paintings on Google. Interesting he was married to Frida Kahlo, a famous artist in her own right, and one of his paintings is very Picasso-esqe, because he knew Picasso. Thank you, I love learning new things about art.

Best to you Ford. Instead of moving, our troublesome neighbors eventually passed away from some illness of sort. We are so thankful they are gone and so is the neighborhood.

Don't folks 'get it'? When so many others don't interact with them and find them so repulsive and disagreeable, you'd think they would look at themselves and try to be different.

My three year old grandson questioned me about them, so they have generational significance!

Yippee! Good news and you're both moved in your place. Ford, it sounds so beautiful and I'm happy for you and your daughter.

In reading your posts on this thread, you sound rejuvenated. Take your time and you will find those "lost" things eventually. Enjoy the sunshine and one another.

As for the Comcast deal, you both struck gold with that one. Enjoy yourselves and thanks for the update!

Thank you Love Roses. I didn't move because of my neighbor though. It is just coincidental that all of that happened (and is still happening) at the same time my daughter and I were discussing living together. She had been looking for many months and could not find a decent place she could afford. It just hit me one day how I could help her and we started the search for a place like this.

You're so right about that. I had to call Comcast four times and each time I received a different quote. One was for $218 per month. And they kept changing the new telephone number. I'm glad I waited until it was actually hooked up before I changed too many, there are some that I have to call back (mostly doctors).

I agree with you about being "rejuvenated," I know I have sounded negative for quite some time. I think that's over now. I feel lighter somehow.

She just left with Bobby for her old house. My LBI daughter is meeting her there for the final cleanup. My youngest is at my old apartment. I don't know what we would have done without these two daughters, I really don't. They have been wonderful. I am so very, very lucky.

Thank you for your "yippie," HisElk!! {#emotions_dlg.wub}
