I went and joined the FB page they recommend and that visit will be the last time.  It is not even close to the forums.  I like the forums because there are categories to pick from, the format  is good and it's just forum members.  (If the FB page has categories I didn't see them.)

What I saw on FB is people write a post on any topic and you reply to that post.  If you want to go back and reread something you have to scroll through all the posts.  (Since I don't know FB that well there may be an easier way I don't know.)

Also, the administrators and moderators list some QVC hosts.  I don't want them participating.  All the posts I saw were about products no personal stories.  This FB page is going to be just another sales pitch.  No thanks.

Has anyone else tried the FB page?

I have tried it,  didn't like it so I unfollowed after giving it a try for several months. It's absolutely nothing like these boards. When the boards go, so will my long relationship with QVC. My account with them will end with the closing of these boards.

I haven't and I won't be doing so. It's too bad as I enjoy visiting here everyday, more than once.

@Winkk   Yes, I went there and it is a joke.   That is nothing like we have here.  I suggest we all Boycott QVC.  The day the boards go down, we all cancel our QCards.  Cancel any auto delivery orders.  I cannot believe they would do this right before the Holidays when so many are alone. This was a special group of people and we will never find that anywhere else.

Posters with expectations that the Facebook experience will mirror these Forums will be greatly disappointed.   It is largely an exercise in collaborative marketing.

I'll join the many others here in saying "not interested."

I believe the facebook move is a total sales pitch.

They are looking for a certain demographic and think this is the way to get it.

I didn't see the announcement. When are forums shutting down?

I have belonged to the #weloveQVC facebook page since its inception.  It is not my cup of tea either.  Sometimes I visit and sometimes I don't.

Having said that, neither that page nor these forums has anything to do with out often or what I purchase from QVC.

While I do love visiting these forums and I will miss it, it will not change my purchasing habits from the Q.  I will also say that I honestly don't buy that much.  At my age I am downsizing and my gift list has shrunk considerably over the years.  I will still watch QVC and if I see something I want and I consider it reasonable for my budget, I will purchase, if not I will not.  These boards or lack there of will have no impact on my spending.

I know some of you will hate this post and that is ok, I just thought I would put up a different viewpoint.
