I am so in need just for a moral boost of sun and blue sky. Even white puffy clouds are ok and it's low 70's so that's ok too. This year I just feel the need for more nice days. It really does help to lift the spirit up.
Maybe someone else is feeling the same way. Hope so. So wishing you a sunny day!!

We are going to have a nice day too - mid 70's, no humidity, sunny skies.

Here too in my neck of the woods.
First day we have seen the sun since last Sunday, no pun intended!

55 when we got up, 63 right now and it is beautiful outside right now! Highs in the 80's. It's been gray and cloudy for the past two weeks or more.

Hi and good morning,
don't know in what area you live, but here in DC we had a full lousy week with lots of rain, lightning and thunderstorms, however, today and tomorrow it will be very nice AND low humidity, so I am elated.
It was so bad on Wednesday, when I conducted a tour for the Future Farmers of America, "kids" about 17-18 and we had to cut the tour short, as there was lots of lightning, so it was dangerous to send them off the bus. Ordinarily I feel badly when I can't complete my job, but the group, 55 pax, had been so rowdy, and even though I asked for quiet at least 6 times, they wouldn't listen, so I was glad when we cut the tour short by 1 1/2 hour.
This Wednesday again, I will have another one of those groups and hope this time they will be both listen more to the history of this country and information about the war memorials, as this is an important part of their week's program. But more than anything, I hope the weather for a change will be good, and we can all enjoy this to the fullest.
Have a wonderful weekend all of you!
Hugs,
Magenta

Our big art festival (over 200,000 attend) is this weekend. I live about half a mile or so down the street from the start of the festival, so I am walking. I'm going today to see the art and tomorrow to visit friends' parties. A man across the street runs TOPS supermarkets. He goes all out...a live band, food from the store, lots of neighbors and friends.
It's 62 degrees and overcast today.
The Komen Run is also today (on my street too!), plus the farmer's market.
I basically HAVE to walk...the street is closed from 11AM until 2PM in front of my driveway!

On 6/14/2014 minkbunny said:Thank you for the sunny wishes! We ARE having a blue sky, puffy clouds, bright sunny day. I had early morning coffee out by one of the flower beds and literally watched the lilies unfold. Beautiful day in the Ozarks, wishing the same for all.
What a FANTASTIC idea to ring your tree with flowers!

I can't complain about our weather. We've had a lot of sunshine as is evidenced by my tan.
