We Have A Chipmunk Behind The Entertainment Center.

Petunia was going nuts about an hour ago.  DD got a flashlight and looked, a freakin chipunk.

Petunia is in my bedroo with the door closed, she was no help.

DD put oatmeal mixed with PB in an old cat carrier and set it so the little devil can go in. Hopefully we shut the door and take hi outside.

No idea how he got in.

Two cats in the house and both are useless. lol

@CrazyKittyLvr2 My cats would most likely be unhelpful as well.  However they grow fairly animated when there's an occasional sighting of these very small black beetles that have been sneaking into the house lately.  Wish my house could be relocated to a place where there are chipmunks.

@laluzdelmundo  At first I thought we had a bat.  Any critter inside is not good but I guess I would rather have a chipunk than a bat.

@laluzdelmundo   Yep, I'll take a chipmunk.

While the 3 yr. old cat was going crazy the 14 yr. old cat came in, watched the younger one for 30 seconds.  The look on her face was "what a maroon, I'm going to bed" and sashshayed upstairs.

Just what I want to be doing at 2:15 in the morning.

@CrazyKittyLvr2

We have only 1 cat left from our once big family of 13 Indoors Only cats. All of them lived from 13 years old, to over 20 years old.

Jasper, our remaining cat is a great mouser, and he would have no issue with catching you little intruder. He doesn't always kill them, and when he doesn't I try to catch them and put them back outdoors. Have been able to do that several times since he has been our only one left.

It is not a chipmunk, it is a baby squirrel.  DD only got a glance at it behind the entertainment center.

It came out, scared the pudding out of DD, it tried to go out a window. When it retreated, we took the screen out so it could high tail it.

Nope, it went upstairs.  No idea where it is up there.

Neither it, or we, are happy.

Success, baby squirrel back outside in nature.  It took nearly 2 hrs.

Let me tell you, when that furry little tail was finally thru the open window you had 2 women running like their butts where on fire to close things up.

Sounds like National Lampoons, "Christmas Vacation".
