LOL @Kachina624   too bad so sad? I was just trying to book travel on my company's travel site and I was getting an error that made no sense.

or "thank you for waiting"-What choice do we have?

"please listen carefully as our menu has changed"🙄

or you are calling anywhere say the dentist-

"if this is an emergency please hang up and dial 911"-duh!

or "wait times may be longer than usual especially early mornings, mondays, fridays" etc

and you are calling on a tues or wed at early afternoon-oh wait they may be closed for lunch!

the one I hate the most is an automated "help" that doesn't understand a darn thing so you end up yelling "speak to a human!!" or "representative!!" til you sound like a mad woman!

I always find it amusing that every business you are trying to reach have all changed their menu options.

It must be a conspiracy to confuse the customers.

Re: We Apologize For Any Inconvenience?

I can see this coming from a company. But some of my college students tell me that for no apparent reason! Even if they are just writing me a note about some minor thing! It must be expected somewhere. I've never given the smallest hint I was ever inconvenienced!

This is a sad reflection on how companies do business. I wonder if the higher ups ever access their own resources or have had to call another company?

These days, I am happy that they are giving at least a slight acknowledgement that they know you might be a tad ticked! Some don't even do that.

Sounds like you ended up with a beautiful mirror!

@LTT1  I did get a beautiful mirror and I love the weight of it and the smoothness of the wood.  I'll take a photo of it sometime this week and notify you of the post of the mirror Smiley Happy

We Apologize For Any Inconvenience this has caused..   Do they really?  I mean do they really care that you were inconvenienced? Or is that just something you are supose to say?

This is in refernce to ANY place that has you on hold, any flight delays/cancellations etc Any type of Service disruptions..   Im sure we all have horror stories.. Excessive hold times playing unwanted music etc  Longest wait times for me are the Post office & IRS

Just  Ranting.....Guess I'm just tired of hearing that

Would you rather they told you "stuff happens" or "too bad for you"?

Take it as a sincere comment instead of looking at it as snark. Your life will be easier that way.
