I am helping a friend search for furniture and thought I would check out Wayfair.  I couldn't even search the site without entering my email.  I there a way around this?  I do not want constant ads from them, I'm just looking at what they have.

Re: Wayfair Web Site

[ Edited ]

I was able to get onto their website with no problems. If necessary, I sometimes use one of my old, outdated email addresses.  No need to be completely honest--LOL!!

@Biftu  No email request for me either.  If you get one, click the "x" to quit it out and/or use a fake email addy like Kaydee suggested.

Also, make sure you are using the correct Mayfair addy.

FULL DISCLOSURE:  I am using an ad/pop up blocker.

@Biftu

Just enter a made up email address.  You don't need a real one unless you have something in your cart and you want to purchase.

Agree to be certain you are on their actual site. If pop up occurs and you don't see an X in the corner tap there anyway. Some sites if you get a pop up it appears as a white X on a light background.

I had the same thing happen and my thought was....if they need my email before I even see what they have or if I wish to purchase then I don't need to shop there.  A few site require email before shopping and I don't shop there either.  Just the principle of the thing, I guess

An option would be to go ahead and submit your email and when the first email from the arrives in your box unsubscribe.

I get their site to load fine.  It doesn't ask for my email address.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Update...I went to the website, got the email request and when I used my back button I got a pop up to proceed without entering my email.  I am thoughly convinced they can get my email if they want to.  I'll probably receive something in a couple of days.
