Water Parks

I won a gift certificate for two nights at a hotel with an indoor waterpark. It happens to be in Northern Michigan--Avalanche Bay is the name of the waterpark (Boyne Mtn). My family loves waterparks, and we usually get away once every winter to have a mini-vacation from the cold & snow. My husband thinks it's crazy to go to an indoor waterpark in the summer and wants to save the passes for sometime during the winter. I get his point, but I think we should go and enjoy it now while the kids are out of school & we have more flexibility with our schedule.

Any thoughts as to the pros and cons? TIA
