So, I hope the media keeps up the story about the people on the watch list having the ability to obtain arms.  This is too important a story to let slide off the front page.

Thanks to Marp for bringing it to our attention.

Yes, it is important but will never be changed when there are organizations like the ACLU involved.  A watchlist is just that; innocent until proven guilty.  I certainly agree with you but it is their right to bear arms unless they are found to be terrorists and by that time, well, the damage is done.  I have learned along the way that many organizations do not work for the greater good.  I don't care if you step on my civil liberties because I am not a terrorist but many on a watchlist claim to be victims of profiling and claim they are innocent.

Whenever I read that the terrorists will be vetted from the refugees and denied entry, I can't help but think back to the Jacee Daugard story. Our government failed her time and time again. Her captors were reported, and yet the police, social workers, and probation officers all dropped the ball. It happens over and over again where social workers haven't done their jobs and children have died. The best vetting policies in the world won't work when people don't do their jobs.
