To answer the question, Rod Stewart doesn't sound too bad for an old bugger!
I got his latest CD Tears of Hercules and he still sounds good.

When I was a toddler in the 1960s, my father used to go out with the guys every Friday night. As he was preparing to go out, my mother was taking her younger sister to dance class. So my father would put me in front of the TV to watch Tom Jones while he got ready. I was memorized. He was the best babysitter.
