So, one cooking video means she won't amount to nothing beyond being a QVC host? There is life after.

I like Lisa and might watch her chat later, but yes the last couple of chats, the sound messed up a little! To those watching, enjoy!

I think she is doing it because she is using her Facebook page and blog as one big job resume for a career in tv talk show type areas. Her "tribe" members....they adore her and she is smart...they are a way of showing her ability to get people to buy whatever she sells, wears, cooks, eats, etc. It's to try to show she is well rounded. Plus, she is generating income selling her jewelry now and stuffed bears, bags, and makeup in the future. She definitely should have her video chat kinks worked out by now,but it seems like it is just her and Katie doing it all. She sure knows how to keep the tribe members interested. I wonder if her Facebook follower numbers are rising or holding steady? She sure is a hard worker and doesn't seem to be afraid of the hustle. I just don't see her style and presentation as being very in demand outside of her tribe.

@Pearlee wrote:Absolutely nolt. Lisa was a salesperson, not my buddy, not a talk show host, not a silver jewelry vendor. If my car salesman who has sold me cars for years left his dealership and went on a website, I wouldn't be watching him either. He's a salesman who sold me a product I wanted. I wouldn't want to hear him blab with a psychologist friend of his. Why would I? What a huge waste of time that would be!
So you say people can't have more than one career? They're only good for one thing?
@itiswhatitis No, you are putting words into my mouth and into my post that aren't there. I went to the guy to buy cars. If he left the car dealership and wants a new career talking to a psychologist friend on a website, or selling something completely different from a car, this time from his own website which has no reputation built up at all, no, I don't think I would follow him around.
He served a purpose (selling me products - cars in this case - that I wanted, he left to do other things for whatever his own personal reasons and so more power and success to him. But i'm not a "tribe" member of his. I liked\ my car salesman personally but he if wanted to go off and do other things, I'd wish him well, not follow him around hanging upon his every word about what he may or may not be doing next. Nor would I follow him around as he meanders from start-up career to start-up career, none in a professional way, trying to keep his former customers such as myself who is still fine with the car dealership and willing to buy another car there (esp. since it has a good business reputation and is well established) while he decides what he wants to do with his life.
There - that's what I am saying. Got it?

You are exactly correct birkinbaby! I don't think there is a single person who had tuned into Lisa's FB page who didn't already know her from the Q.
She's holding onto to her tribe for as long as she can before they get bored. What makes me giggle is Lisa grasping at anything these days. From infomercials, to cooking segments, to gardening tips, to interviewing vendors from Q on her FB page, to selling jewelry one piece at a time, and next selling stuffed bears. LOL. It's all so disorganized and comical to see unfold.
And since leaving Q, she has not said one kind thing about QVC. To me, that says A LOT! Doing what Lisa is doing now, is for sure not what she left Q for! It's so obvious. She's trying anything that will stick and draw interest. It's all so amatuer.

Just a stupid thought - but maybe she is actually doing this stuff for money?
Tribe equals paycheck
