The Sixties............still torn by the death of JFK and the real story. Oswald was not given protection and we lost the truth.......really........I wish he would have lived to talk. Did anyone watch this tonight?

I guess everyone is dead now and even the doctor that saw the President. That doctor did not even turn him over just wanted to keep him alive.......so he was possibly shot from the front. Right front the bullet came from or the law of physics were not working that day. That is what they say. SO many opinions and so many more untold stories.

Yes, I watched it. To be honest I don't think we will ever know the truth about what really happened that day and the months and years that followed. I remember so clearly exactly where I was when I heard the news and I will never forget what a horrible time that was for our country and the Kennedy family.

Even if the truth was told, would anybody believe it?

I doubt it.

50 years later & the controversy still rages on. Oswald was a little man desperately wanting to be important. He did it all on his own. Jack Ruby was also a little man wanting to be a big shot. He killed Oswald all on his own. No conspiracies.

But people don't want to believe that it really was that simple.

I used to believe this until I went to the Texas Book Depository and stood at that window. It would have been next to impossible to inflict the damage done on both men with only 3 shots from that perch.

What a bone chilling place to stand.

I also agree. Oswald was a total loser and it's hard to believe that someone like him could singlehandedly take down a president, but he did. Could he naje the same shot(s) again? Probably not but he did that day. Human flesh doesn't stand a chance against a hunting rifle.

It's a sad situation but I believe very strongly that there were not multiple shooters.

Oswald was an excellent marksman, at one time earning the rating of sharpshooter. There is little doubt in my mind he acted alone and could make all 3 shots accurately and within the given time frame.
