I remember reading somewhere that she was ordained. I always liked her: she never came across as "acting": her role was great casting.

The Brady Bunch was the first tv show to show the parents sleeping in the same bed (previously, tv couples were shown w/2 twin beds)!

@care04 wrote:OMG, this thread is fun to read! A day-brightener after a stressful day! I always liked the layout of the Brady house, especially the main floor. All that room! Mike's den was the coolest! The upstairs was way too small for such a large main floor, though. Just a TV show, I know, but the interior of that house always intrigued me.
I loved the house but it never made sense to me. Mike was an architect and they had 6 kids but 1 bathroom for all 6 to share! LOL
I still watch A Very Brady Christmas every year. Doesn't seem like the holidays without it. I also love the episode where Carol loses her voice at Christmas and Cindy asks Santa Claus to get it back for her as her Christmas gift. LOL

The other day "Greg,Peter,Bobby and Cindy" were on the Today show.
I don't know their real names but it was good to see them.
Sorry if someone mentioned this already.
I love the Brady Bunch!

My take on the girls taking the last name Brady....Sinse the show was called "The Brady Bunch" the story line needed all the kids to have the Brady last name, regardless of how that came about.
I can't say that show was ever my favorite, but our family watched it every week and certain lines remain memorable.

Anyone remember how/where Carol & Mike met?

@ChiliPepper It wasn't mentioned, as the first episode began with the wedding and honeymoon. I wonder why it didn't begin at the meeting point as Yours, Mine, and Ours did. I realize the creators wanted to get the kids in immediately, but this still could have been done with at least a few episodes before they married.
It wasn't even shown how they got into a house together. I think a moving day would have been fun and funny.
