If it is so awful there, don't go back.  People vote with their pocketbook so to speak.  If you continue to shop there, you are accepting what they offer.

That’s not much of a declaration.

not when it’s convenient for you.

I always re-use the plastic bags for things like that.

I use the Breeze system with the pads underneath and put them in the plastic bags then in the larger can.

I don't know what I would do without them.

True, but they still end up in a landfill, just as if they had been discarded.

I use any plastic bags I get as trash bags, much easier for me to handle them when they are full, but I often have to use 3 or 4 because they are so flimsy.

Hey, how do you like the Breeze system?    I have it, I have 2 cats, not sure if I'm crazy about it.    I like it for the pad on the bottom but not sure I like the pellets.   My cats could care less, they went right to it the first day.

@on the bay   I save my grocery store bags for my niece who lives in Massachusetts for the cat litter. They are banned there.

But I am hearing they are going to be banned in NY soon.

Plastic shopping bags will be banned in New York State in April 2020.  My husband and I use them for so many things -- including cat litter.  We are stock piling.

When I had my place at the lake, the local Walmart store manager (not department manager, but the one with her  picture on every check out) lived down the street.

She got exceptional bonuses and I'm sure sales is a large part of it but I would think customer feedback plays a role too.   If you have a problem, I would report it locally first, give the manager a chance to make a correction.

My DD has a very good job with Walmart, I try not to trash them, neither will I defend them when they are in the wrong.   We also support Sam's Club.

And most large businesses will have a Survey at the

bottom of the receipt.  Fill that out, as well.

And yes, customer satisfaction is a

incentive marker for most retail establishments.

They make waste basket trash bags, which is about the same size as the shopping bags.

You can always use the waste basket bags for the kitty litter.

You're hilarious.

Let's see? Several years ago to pick up someone else's Rx.

Life must be interesting to live in a world where no means no, regardless of circumstance.

There are very few absolutes in this world.

I guess in order to stand your ground, the other person should have just gone without their meds, and suffered the consequences.

I'm sure that they would've understood, right?

“...low end bags”??

I would never degrade a big-box store, like Walmart.

They have the same goods & merchandise as any big-box store.

And more likely, many people depend on this store in their community.

@sidsmom

Read the OP. She talks about the cheap bags.
