I have to say the one annoying thing about this Walmart + situation is you get it for free if you use the Straight Talk cell service. BUT you have to use the plan that is 55 bucks a month. Not so bad right? Well I've been using the 45 dollar plan for many many years, don't need the 55 dollar one and even if I did I'd be paying more for Walmlart plus through the extra 10 bucks a month. Boooo! I think as a long time Straight Talk customer they should cut me a break. Smiley LOL

I like using Scan and go at Sam's Club. Saves a lot of time. I also order online and pick up at the club.

@deeva

Does the Walmart+ membership include scan and go at Sam's club?

I've had the subscription less than a year. Probably will not renew. The gas benefit doesn't help me because it's only good at certain gas stations. That's not very convenient. I used the grocery delivery service a couple of times and my order was wrong both times. The delivery ppl didn't speak English so it was impossible to communicate with them.

I've had a membership since May when they were running a $49 membership special just before Memorial Day.  I get home delivery once in awhile but that does cost when you add in the driver's tip so it's not really FREE delivery.  I do not like that I still have to have a $35 minimum order to do a free pick up at the store.  I thought that was one of the benefits was no minimum order for pick up but it's not.

I will see how much I use it over the winter months before deciding if I will renew it next May.  Our winters can be wicked cold and snowy so the thought of not having to go out sure sounds good!!

@Kachina624 The gas discount is also good at Exxon & Mobil stations.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

@smoochy.  The delivery people couldn't help you even if they spoke English.  You can go online and get an instant refund for any missing or wrong item but nobody's going to bring the correct one to you.  Call CS  with complaints; they often give extra credits.

If you shop at walmart, have you paid for the subscription plan Walmart+?  There is a 30-day free trial and then it's $98 a year with some great sounding benefits. Now that they deliver to my home (13 miles), it sounds even better. You also get 10 cents/ gallon discount on fuel.  Do you like the plan? We're going to wait till we need a grocery delivery to start the 30 day free trial.  I also missed one or two of the Kansas City football games last year because we don't get the Paramount+ Channel.  That's included in the subscription.

If you are on Social Security, you can get the Walmart+ plan for $49.99. Paramount+ is free.

I've always hated Walmart for social justice reasons. They have changed to some degree.

But! My income is 1/2 of what it was before retiring. I have to bite my tongue and shop where I get the best prices. I get most of my center store stuff at Walmart and I go to another store for meat, produce, and sales/specials.

You cannot get $49. from Walmart, unless you're on "special assistance."

I don't know. To use Scan and Go, you download the Sam's app.

I wasn't expecting someone to bring me the correct items. I did go online

And that assistance is SNAP, Medicaid, and some other government programs.

The discounted membership is called 'Walmart Assist' if anyone wants more info.
