@Ainhisg ,
I recently got the Walmart+ but did not know about the ability to have them come to your home for a return. That is great!
I also added the In Home too because since no tips it really saves. If you just have Walmart+ the tip is about $10-12 every time.
The tip is optional of course but that wouldn't be something most would do.
Walmart returns and communication are so easy and quick-better than any Amazon I've experienced. They give you a q-code or whatever it's called, just like Amazon.
The pros about the In Home for me are when you don't feel like lugging a lot of groceries in or even going to the store.
The cons are I don't like to always wait 4 hours time frame. That can take up a lot of the day.
Also for me it takes a long time to chose what to order online, though it will show all your recent orders to help.
And last if you don't want to let them chose substitutes, the store may often run out of something that still shows on the website but will message you saying not available by the time your order is complete.
If I go to the store I can find something else that works. I don't really like them to chose any substitute. And I do like to chose my own produce but my daughter thinks the In Home people chose better produce than just the Walmart+. it depends on who you get.
The In Home are Walmart employees and that is why no tips.
The Walmart+ are 3rd party contractor deliverers-that is why there is a tip.
One great thing about the Walmart+ is you can order 1 thing for shipping (edited from delivery) with no shipping charge!
This is a true luxury. No need to order $35 worth. And depending on what it is, it may come in a day or 2. But this is only for non persihable items.
With the In Home you do have to order $35 worth of groceries to avoid a delivery fee.In Home includes perishable groceries and everything and anything else Walmart has in the store.

Thanks so much
I sure hope it is available in my friend's areas! 2 I contacted said they have paid WAY over $40 in tips. This service would be valuable to them.
Appreciate the posts and the time you all took!!

You're very welcome![]()
I'll add too that with both Walmart+ and In Home, everything is packed so well with frozen together, refrigerated, etc, and not too overly heavy!

I love the option of having Walmart come pick up an item I need to return. I use their app a lot of times for various things and if I have a problem they are quick to respond.

@Ainhisg. Somebody mentioned this option in the recent past and I couldn't find it mentioned at my store so i assumed it wasn't offered here either.

@goldensrbest ..............As far as I know no delivery person from anywhere comes into your house. Deliveries are generally left on porch, steps near your main entry.

With Walmart+ and adding In Home, they will bring grcoeries in or leave them outside. You indicate where and how you want them.
Some peope even have them brought into kitchen and some even have them help put them away.
I just have her bring them inside the door. Next time I'm going to have her put them on the couch-easier to lift and get out.
I don't like them left outside on the ground but some especially with a house like it that way.
It's a lot of great choices if and when you need it.

This is a newer service Walmart has added for those who need the extra help.

@Ainhisg : Darn - not available in my area. That would save me a lot on tips and really help with returns.
I use a walker and have back problems. I have WM+. I do 100% home delivery. I purchased a sign from Amazon that includes on the sign : symbols for Amazon, USPS, UPS, FEDEX and had space to add customized note: I included Walmart and Instacart stating : Put items in two chairs next to front door. This made a difference because they were placing items on the porch and in front of the door - making it very difficult to open the door and pick up the items.
I really appreciate all my delivery people.
