I got one ol' gal who is a mess. I''ll avoid her line like leprosy.

She's old and fat has hair pulled back in a severe bun and wears glasses and she stands there and sings the songs that's on the radio and snaps her fingers like she's on stage.

If all that isn't bad enough she says "Hi Sweetie",  "how's your day going honey", "come back and see us now babe". On and on like that.

I'm glad that she's happy and must have a good all around attitude about the world in general, but, your at work not the disco and from the looks of you your dancing queen days are behind you.

I'll run to the self check out if I see she's working.

@Katcat1

It doesn't matter how much anyone who works anywhere gets paid - from the lowest paid job to the highest in the land - if someone wants to steal, they will unfortunately. I'm sorry that happened to you.

On a side note, my local Walmart neighborhood market has in the last year become a real problem with ppl soliciting money inside the store, the parking lot, gas pumps. I avoid as much as possible and use grocery pickup.

I started using the self check when they were not allowed to touch the bags I brought from home.

A couple of years ago, I had the cashier take my charge no. and use it charging over $300 in merchandise but my charge account people caught it.  Not sure if they caught who did it.  I think Walmart needs to give a decent hourly wage so they would not steal.  I remember when I was out of work and had to work temporary.  It was difficult to get the higher hourly wages and it's diffiult to live off $12 when you are the only provider.

@Katcat1 You blame Walmart for people stealing?  Therein lies a lot of the problem.

@SharkE - it's important for you to note that "she's old and fat"????  Does that make it all worse somehow for you?

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@Katcat1  - Your post said your cashier stole your card, but then you said you're not sure if they caught who did it.  So how do you know it's the cashier?

@SharkE    Sounds like you get free entertainment.  Sounds like she's overly familiar, however.  I'd complain about that.
