I would use the Walmart in home service if I needed too but I would have to be home....it's no different than having furniture - appliances delivered & having home repairs done.

From what I understated camera record the person entering your home, and while they are there. You are notified (if you're not home) and you can watch them on your phone.

I choose to have all deliveries left at my door and I retrieve them when the driver has left. If I needed the service I would be home with my crazy dog going nuts. I rarely say never because you never know!

I wonder if they do background checks on these people who enter your home. With my luck, it would be a serial killer waiting. In this day and age, no way would I allow a complete stranger entering my home without my presence..This service sounds like a good idea with some serious repercussions.

Before covid many grocery delivery services offered to bring groceries into your kitchen when you were home.

I never did that because I was not comfortable with it. "Current climate" has zero to to do with it, since when has it ever been a good idea to invite strangers into your home? Especially when you're not home. I would say NEVER.

Many posters here talk about having housekeepers, how many have them in your home when you're not home? Or any other service?

@On It If I were living alone and unable to drive, I have no doubt I would have to make major changes. But I can't imagine having to have my groceries delivered into the house if I am not home - not by Walmart, not by Amazon, not by anyone.

I am fortunate to have several neighbors with whom I can occasionally share shopping needs, but we do not enter each other's empty home to deliver.
