I am not sure if this is a new service or if it has just come to my attention. I have noticed a new commercial for the last two days. Where Walmart employees will come to your home and not only deliver your groceries but put your items away for you. Even if you are not home.
This is a hard no for me. As in absolutely, never going to happen.
My question is simply would anyone consider this service.

Yikes, I can't think of a worse idea.

Not for me. NO WAY.

@icezeus Sure! I absolutely want total strangers entering my home and touching my stuff! Big safety and privacy RED FLAG.

The Walmart in home service is not something I would choose to use today. I can see where someone who is home bound and needing health care providers to offer daily assistance might need the service. Walmart could deliver everything they might need to make the individual comfortable in their own home.
I am not keen on strangers in my home, but circumstance can make that a necessity.

Amazon has done this since 2017 (Amazon Key).
I personally would never use a service like that but it must work for some people, hence Walmart jumping into the fray.

I just read that the service is aimed at people who work outside their home or are away and can't be at the doorstep to receive regular fresh-food delivered but need it placed inside so the food won't get spoiled. BUT STILL! ![]()

Given the current climate of our country...this is a big no!

I can see that being a huge plus.
At Walt Disney World people order groceries while they stay at Walt Disney World. Bell services had handled people's food orders for many years.
Recently there was a huge problem apparently someone's insulin was not refrigerated by bell services. So bell services no longer handles refrigerated items.
SO if Walmart comes and delivers the groceries and puts the items away, it will be a win win. Walt Disney World and Bell services does not have to deal with handling all the grocery orders. And people's food orders will be put away and they won't have to worry about items being refrigerated. They won't have to come back from the Parks. Or if their planes are late landing, they still have their food orders ready for them when they arrive.
