Walmart In-Home Substitution Refund Question

For those of you who have the WM In-Home Delivery subscription, how do you get a refund on a substitution you didn't want?  To clarify, Walmart In-Home is an additional $40 subscription added to the basic WM+ $98 subscription. I am not talking about the WM+ subscription.

Yesterday, I received notice of a substitution that I did not want but there was nowhere (that I could find) to decline it.  It said to return it with the delivery driver, which I did.  As of last night, I still hadn't received a refund, so I contacted WM through chat, and they submitted a ticket for me.  I am supposed to hear something by email within 48 hours.  The delivery driver acted like he had no idea what to do with the substitution that I didn't want but said he would take care of it for me.

My husband added the grocery item to my order and didn't check "no substitutions" for that item, so that is how this happened.

Re: Walmart In-Home Substitution Refund Question

You should get an email asking how they did with the order and delivery. You can tell them at that time, they are usually very good about substitutions and refunding those that are not wanted. It seems that WM uses the comments to teach the pullers as well as to learn about what love and how to improve the delivery process.
