Do you ever get on waitlist for a product and then forget about it? I did that with a beauty product that was shipped and I completely forgot about it! Now I'm getting something that I didn't obviously need, I was living without it very well! I know it's on me not QVC and I need to keep on top of waitlist items better.I'll probably end up keeping it.

Usually when I go on waitlist, I end up cancelling.  I don't do well with advance orders either.  I don't like to have something out there lingering.

@Jordan2Been there, done that!

Three or four years back at this time of year  sometime between Christmas and New Years Day, someone said something here that made me do a major check up on my spending.  It wasn't that I couldn't pay for what I'd been buying - I hadn't been totally stupid, but I certainly was buying more than I needed.

I listed everything I'd bought, putting each into my own categories, and added each column.  OMG!  No wonder I was having trouble finding space for things in my down-sized home.  I didn't stop buying, but I really stopped buying out of control.

I truly hope I'm not about to die, but if I did, I won't be in anyone's newspaper because my family found stacks and stacks of unused producrs.  I've been able to use up almost everything I ordered, and with the exception of jewelry, there's not a whole lot of clutter left.

To me, one of the most interesting aspects of what I did was that I stopped not only excessive QVC buying, but I stopped all kinds of unnecessary buying.  Now when I decide to buy, I believe I get more pleasure from that purchase than I did in what I call my crazy years.

Jordan - keeping your waitlisted product isn't a bad thing, imo, as long as you actually use it - hopefully sooner than I was able to use up what I'd spent my dollars on!

Re: Waitlisting A Product

[ Edited ]

Nope ..... anything I have on waitlist or have purchased within the past 30 days is in my Saved section of the Shopping Cart.    That way I can keep track of anything I still might return or if a waitlist item goes into In Process.    Right now I have one item in Waitlist.

OP, I guess there's always the chance you WILL love the item you forgot about!
