Waiting for this book for over a year and am anxious to read it (see below)

Found out today, "Finding Me" (the story of Michelle Knight--one of the 3 girls abused and kept prisoner for many years by Arial Castro?) finally has her book in print and available. The library has 7 or so copies, so I am #7 and think I will be getting it this week! (I gave up on Unbroken) but my husband read it and totally enjoyed it so it wasn't a waste of my $!

I will let you all know what I thought about this book after I read it, knowing full well it will be difficult to read and can only imagine how she and the other 2 girls survived all they went through.

Yeah, let us know if you like the book. I don't think I can read that "topic" of that book. I can't breathe when that bad behavior goes on. It's horrible.

It held my interest from the beginning, but I got some long awaited DVD's that I am so into I lost interest in continuing with the book. According to my DH who did read it all, he thought it was an excellent read, so I was glad he read it as I have a feeling it will be a long time before I go back to this book. I know it is a good book, BUT if you aren't in a reading mood, you just can't make it work.....

When I first started reading UNBROKEN I had a hard time believing it was real. Meticulous documentation put my doubts to rest, and allowed me to be awed by his unfailing spirit and will to survive.
