Waiting for Orders

This happened to me early in the Spring so I decided to try Zappos. Well what a surprise. If an order is placed before 2 pm it is delivered the next day using UPS. And I received them the next day. Also had to return one pair and after printing a label I took it to rhe UPS store and when I walked out to my car my phone beeped. The money was returned to my credit card after the pkg was scanned. There were no shipping charges for purchasing or returning the pkg. That's a great place to shop.

I only buy shoes online if I get free shipping and returns either by mail or in the store. I can't understand why people pay for shipping and /or returns when there are other more affordable options.

For me it's the overall price, not the Free Shipping. I have definitely found free shipping on other sites but it wasn't necessarily cheaper than QVC. I factor in S&H with every purchase. In addition, what I like most about QVC is you can return an item within 30 days used or new. Many retailers, in fact most, require items like new in original packaging. Not so with QVC. You really have to factor in that you can wear the shoes every day of the week for 30 days and decide if you want to keep them. I've tried on shoes that I thought would work great but after all day wear, yikes, had to send back.

@turtle52 "Free" shipping does not mean something is cheaper. The total price, the bottom line is all that counts.

For me returns don't have to be "free" but easy. And I agree things need to get moving soon.

Love Zappos and the sister store 6pm....throughout the years, excellent service and good to great prices.

@phoenixbrd I also love 6pm and shopped many times there. Shop wisely though, I have occasionally found 6pm more expensive than QVC and 6pm requires apparel and shoes to be unworn, like new and in original packaging.
