All Colorado full-year residents will be getting a sales tax refund (called the Tabor Refund). Everyone qualifies for it but you have to file state income tax to get it. Many retired people on SS don't file b/c they are exempt from paying tax so they miss out on the Tabor Refund. If you are a Colorado resident and reading this you need to file your state income tax to get that refund. Single people get $800 and married couples get $1600 combined. I missed out last year and the year before that b/c I did not know about the Tabor Refund in Colorado.
