It's not just the younger people. I once had an older lady keep interrupting me as I was trying to explain my problem. I finally had to tell her to let me finish.

It is a weekend. I always wonder about the more experienced people being off and who is minding the store.

Next time, ask to speak to her manager/supervisior.

All my "rude" customer service experiences were with QVC, never had a problem with HSN CS.

I am so sorry about your experience.  I worked call centers for many years and they record every single call that comes in.  That rep should never be in cs.  They way she treated you would of been an instant fire at my previous call center jobs.  If you want you can report her when asked for a supervisor.  If you can remember the time you called and her name would be a great help.  They will go back and listen to the call and I do think they will either repremand or fire.  Very unprofessional.
