I already posted this on Viewpoints but now think I was wrong and it belongs here. There are no gas lines on my property or immediate area. I got my electric bill and a hint about how high my bill will be if I continue using the heat pump, even keeping it set at 65. I have a nice wood burning fireplace and have used it twice with duraflame logs. Warm, nice and cozy for about 5 feet. I'd like to heat the whole room and am considering having a fan installed inside it, if it's not too expensive. I had that done years ago at different house, gas fllame. Can this be done in a wood burner? I don't know who to call for bids. Have any of you ever had this done? If so, I'd sure appreciate any advice, suggestions or opinions. Thanks in advance.
