Awww, how wonderful, @PamfromCT. I have tears in my eyes reading this. Continued prayers for Brittany and her family.

@Cakers3, Everything is going very well.  Thank you, my dear, and everyone else who offered prayers and well wishes.  I am glad that Brittany has received chemo/radiation, along with the successful surgery.  Her type of cancer was especially bad.  When I had researched it, it upset me greatly.  I will be getting an update soon, I hope, as at least I know that the children and baby are also doing well.  Brittany has “young parents” living next door to her, as well as a grandmother who is totally involved.  She wants to keep things as private as possible, so I only communicate in written form.  That is her decision, and I have to respect that.  She is an amazing young woman, and I guess is already talking about getting involved in fundraising for Dana Farber/Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the future.

When people share their journey it gives so much hope to those just starting out on a very scary path.
