@Cakers3........how are you feeling now?

My sis lives in San Antonio.....she told me that it was 23 there this morning.  But no snow.  Her yard man wrapped her faucets with their blanket.  She also took her gardenia plant inside.....to be on the safe side.

 @ShowMe, I lived in Webster for many years, now in

North County.  I remember the snow of 82 when we had about 13", schools closed for days, people were sking down my street ! Store shelves empty. What a time that was !

@Goodie2shoes......oh how well I remember that 82 snow fall.  It was up to my knees.  We didn't run out of food.  DH was supposed to go out of town, but had to post pone that trip.  There were several doctors that lived in our subdivision, and they couldn't get out to go to the hospitals.  They didn't get to our roads to plow for 2 days.  Were busy plowing the major roads.....subdivisions were the last to get plowed.

I lived in Webster for about 22 years.  My first little house was down by Yorkshire Shopping, and when I was getting married in 1981, we built my dream home in Webster Forest....off Grant Road.  Lived there 7 years.....and after we moved, that is when my marriage went sour.

Oh you didn't make me worry more.  You helped me.  Once I knew NYC was having traffic problems along with PA, at least I could figure out why he was so late.

He agreed with you.  He said his regular highway was closed and he had to take the turnpike.

Thank you for your help.

One of my dear friends; she lives a mile from me, left work at 4:35 p.m. and got home about 8 p.m.  She has to travel a couple of side roads; 15 miles only to get home.. I was on the phone with her for 1 1/2 hr..

I live about an hour and forty minutes north of NYC & it's awful up here.. They let the schools out early today..

I too am sooooooo not ready for this.. I hope this isn't an indication of what winter is going to be like.. Where I live lights got out a lot & all I can say is URRRRR.

Safe travels to everyone here who has loved ones on the roads..

This area of southern WV is coated with 1/2 - 3/4” of ice.   We had freezing rain all day, instead of the predicted snow flurries.

We’ve had power all day, but more than 6000 people in this county do not.   Downed trees took out the power to my teacher daughters school, and has not been restored yet.

Ok ladies, I'm calling it a night.  Am really tired now.  Have had a busy day......and now my nice clean bed and clean jammies are waiting for me.  Had my shower and now I'm going to get to bed.

Stay safe, and hope everyone gets home safe.

Sweet dreams.
