This little guy/girl was only about 4-5 feet away. I couldn't believe he'd hopped up so close.❤️

We have enjoyed watching a litter of bunnies play and eat the clover in our yard; no garden or other vegetation to worry about. However, a cat is roaming thru the backyard several times a day; I run it off when I see it out back, but the distinct urine smell hits as soon as the back door is opened. Obviously one of the new city raised neighbors has no idea of the predators roaming thru the woods here.

I love ❤️ watching the young bunnies play too.
I sure hope that kitty doesn't get ahold of one though. I remember that strong smell you described all too well too. I'll bet it's a male cat. Sometimes when they spray, it's like pure testosterone. Yuck! Sounds like your neighbors are probably letting him out without a care in the world because he's a male.
