I've seen the ads for "Ebates' and wondered - how does it work?  If someone has the time, could you explain how both Ebates and MrRebates works and how you get cash back?  Thanks!

Better yet, go to their websites and get the information ... it's easy to understand.

yes, i have had problems on and off over the years with ebates and mr rebates. when i remember, i try to send them a form and they will manually add the purchase to your account.

thanks to whoever mentioned splender! they have qvc and hsn at 4% right now. i added that to my rebate list. i use mr rebates, ebates, extrabux, and now splender.

I have had problems with both ebates and mrrebates on and off over the years but I must say, I have never not had a purchase from QVC not get my rebate back from ebates. It is one of the few vendors that actually consistently reports the orders correctly to ebates. I don't buy alot from QVC though so I can't say I've had hundreds of orders or anything.

Remember, if you return items, it will zero out your rebate.

QVC has a little banner on it welcoming ebates members when you go through the ebates link to QVC. If you don't see that, then you most likely are not going to get credit for it.

I used to exclusively use Mr Rebates but Nordstrom dropped them so I started using Ebates for those purchases.  I haven't noticed any problems with either of them.  I have an $80 rebate currently on Mr Rebates and a $35 rebate on Ebates.  I usually wait until I get to $100 before requesting payment.

I use Mr. Rebates and have not had a problem with it. I let my rebates add up for a while and then request the check.  My DD uses Ebates and likes it!

I use Hoopladoopla for my QVC purchases. I earn 3% and I've never had a problem. I use Ebates for HSN and some transactions disappear. I do 99% of my shopping online, so using one or the other is worth it for me. On average, I make about $75 on Ebates and $200 on Hoopladoopla. If the percentages are the same, I use Hoopladoopla because of the trust factor.

I always compare Ebates and MrRebates and usually (99.9% of the time) earn more from MrRebates.
