Been up all night and it started snowing in the weee hours. Still snowing and I'd guess on our walks and loooooong/curved driveway? At least 5" right now and still coming down.

Just got done shoveling the sidewalks and taking a coffee break before I tackle the driveway. Used to have a handshake deal with my neighbor. He used his BobCat to plow my driveway and I would mow his front acreage in return.

Not sure what's up, but I ain't seen his Bobcat sitting on his land lately. We had a few inches of snow earlier this year and he was a no-show. Next time I see him I'll ask him whats up? For now, since I sold our snow blower after 2nd heart attack? I will shovel very, very slowly, and hope my body holds up.

@hckynutjohn

John, please take extra care when working on the snow today.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

@hckynutjohn, I'm three hours north of you and we're having a green Christmas! I heard 8" will be here on Saturday, though.

I don't think you should shovel! I am perfectly able to, but I have a team of young guys that show up when there's over 2" and do it all in like 15 min. It would take me three hours by myself! Definitely worth the cost of the service.

Be safe doing that shoveling. It's very unseasonably warm here in mid Atlantic. You can keep the snow but I'd prefer seasonably cool. Merry Christmas to you and yours and all your fur babies

We had two and possibly another tornado hit Indiana last night - quite a bit of damage in a few areas.  Everyone here would like some snow (not me though!) for Christmas.  I'm enjoying the sun and warmth while I can.

Oh John, I am officially jealous! Right now the thermometer outside my house says 78 degrees! I hate it! I am making a few cookies but I had to turn on my a/c. I think this is the first year I ever had to put the AC on except for the times I spend Christmas in Australia!!

Enjoy your lovely snow and know that many ladies on this board are very envious!!

It's going to be a record-breaking 72 in the NE today and I will be very happy not to see any snow this season.  Snow on the ground means I'm afraid to walk and slip.

Please be careful shoveling, John.  I hope you can find a couple of kids to do it for you instead.
