That's definitely one of those dates I remember.

I was having lunch with some co-workers (even remember what each of us ordered) at a downtown drug store lunch counter. The waitress was filling up some diners' coffee cups and that's when she broke the news. I can still see her there with that pot in her hand. An elderly woman sitting not far from our group was very upset.
