How did you get the cap off to decant? I am struggling and would like to decant as well.
Thank you,
Erin

I understand Tova sold her perfume line to QVC as she has retired. I also read reviews from people that have purchased it since it changed hands that it is NOT the same smell because QVC changed the formula. I have tried to buy it on line and the prices are outrageous. In the hundreds of dollars for just her Tova Signature line. I could not find any of the special packages she used to offer at QVC. Please please update us on the status of the Tova line. As of today there are only two products on QVC. We need her perfume desperately.😪

@Dusty1wrote:I bought the 2 bottle set last October. The first bottle quit spraying, so I am decanting it into a Travalo Spray Bottle.
I've been using Tova for a lot of years & I think it smells the same & it lasts all day on me.
I am irritated with the bottle not working, but I'm glad that there is any easy fix.
I had that happen and found that rubbing alcohol, on a cotton swab, wiped around the base of the sprayer, got it to work again.

I'm glad to find out I am not the only one who noticed a change in the fragrance. I have a crystal decanter and it does not last very long and smells differently. I also have an unopened box of 3.4 oz. Tova Signature that I hesitate to open if it is not going to be from "the old batch". I used to get compliments when wearing it, now I think I just "smell"![]()
If Tova has retired and QVC took over the fragrance, I doubt it will ever be like the original.

@Waterwoman - Tova Signature changed as soon as QVC acquired it from Tova. She was on the other day with jewelry and said she would be back in June. Tova's fragrances have not been the same for years. I was a faithful user since the 90's and loved the Signature fragrance. If you bought the 3.4 oz. within the last 3-5 yrs, it is not the "real" Tova. If you look at the many, many poor reviews for her fragrances, you will see how so many of us have pleaded for the original fragrance to be brought back. It has fallen on deaf ears. Only the more recent buyers of her fragrances are satisfied. Those of us who remember what the original fragrances were like are done with ordering it and cancelled our auto deliveries a long time ago. It is such a shame that they changed what was a beautiful fragrance line. Why would they mess with success? MONEY - WHY ELSE!!!

I bought a two bottle set of Tova, I really enjoy this. My problem, both bottles are nearly full and I can’t get them to spray. Customer service gave me a small credit for this problem, because there was no replacement available. I am very disappointed, wish I could find a way to use up the two almost full bottles!

Anyone correct me about the date, but in 2008 a law was passed to start banning many ingredients , formulas etc from perfumes. I think by 2012 or 2014 all perfumes had to be reformulated or not sold. Some of the ingredients were citral, tonka beans, a few jasmines, and many other ingredients. Companies like Chanel had to reformulate Chanel 5, after 93 years of being the top fragrance. Chanel even considered pulling the fragrance rather than reformulate it. This had to do with a few issues. The ingredient was extremely Allergic, or it came from an endangered plant, moss, wood or animal. I know in the case of Chanel they had an endangered moss that was found in one place in France,
i wish Tova, and others would just fess up to reformulating the fragrance. The fragrances are the same ingredients, but the ingredients were reformulated. One of the problems that arose after reformulation of all perfumes, was staying power. All perfumes lack the staying power they used to have because of one banned ingredient, and the reformulation. But as I said, all perfumes contained 3 ingredients in perfume base that had to be reformulated. That effected the base of all perfumes.
Have worn a few fragrances a long, long time. One, Rive Gauche changed so much I quit buying it. Tova Nights also had a huge change, I no longer buy that. The others Beach by Bobbi Brown I still wear, but it is a weak version but pretty close to original. I actually prefer the lotion to perfume, as it os stronger and lasts longer.

I am also a TOVA perfume lover. I wore only TOVA Signature for many years and received many comments about the great scent.
A man - in an elevator ride - asked me about the perfume so he could buy for his wife! But, once the scent changed so much, I stopped buying. Did not smell the same nor last as long as the original. Doubt that we will ever get the same original formula back again.....

I wanted to add, I bought Tovas original scent from a magazine ad!!! That was back in the day
