I have always been fascinated by these men. We know a bit more about them ,than people realize. I ran into a website, from a Christan in Iran , posting about them. I will share links, from what I have found, for anyone who would like to read about them.

Some are religous, and others might not be... feel free to add anything you know, too

Re: WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE MAGI

This is a link  I hope isn't in violation. It is written  in a catholic periodical. There are some peautiful pieces of artwork and music as well. Some of the information is from scripture and others from history

Re: WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE MAGI

The Magi are my favorites.  I collected Magi figurines for many, many years.   They graced my cards every year back when I sent them out.  I kept one from each box of cards.

Thanks for the info and links.

@cherry @Cakers3

THANKS so much!  I will enjoy reading this and have it all bookmarked.  I saw a little piece of something last night about the sealing material on a tomb stamped and dated by analysis to the 300 ace era of Constantine's time.

I recorded it and will check out the whole show later.

I love history; love to read about Egypt; and love to read about Greece and Rome too as well as Middle East.

Re: WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE MAGI

This tells about the opening of the reliquary ,housing  the bones of the Magi

I don't know if I can find the website ,that talked about the fragment of cloth ,wrapped around the bones

It dated from antiquity, and was so expensive , only those who had immense wealth, could have afforded to use it
