Before my last dog died, she would hide my shoes the moment I came back inside the house. It didn't matter if I was only gone for one minute to get the mail, she would start sniffing at my feet waiting for me to remove my shoes. She would hide them in different rooms to make it hard for me to find them. I guess she figured that if she hid them well enough, I wouldn't ever leave again. She knew that when I put my shoes on, I was going to leave! I miss her.
My current doggie tilts her head when I'm talking to her. she tilts it this away, and that way..back and forth as though what I am saying to her is the MOST fascinating story EVER. At night, she has to sleep with her tummy up against me. That was nice in the winter to have a little warmer puppy next to me. But now that it is is hot, she doesn't understand why mommy keeps backing away. So she scoots her tummy right back up against me. It must remind her of snuggling with her littermates?

My special boy would come and talk to me. He would direct me with his head telling me what he wanted. He also was the leader and tattle tale of my pack. He would come and talk letting me know that the other two were in mischief. he showed me where they were. He had a large vocabulary and would pick words out of a sentence and do the appropriate behavior. Never had another as intelligent as he was. I still miss him everyday. He taught me so much.
He loved to watch awesome pawsome on tv would really watch the hour program of a foursome of tigers being raised by keepers from eighth weeks old cubs through year old tigers. Every time it was on he was mesmerized with them.
