Re: WHAT’S YOUR NEW MAJOR?

I really have an almost obsessive interest in archeology, anthropology and theoretical physics for the past few years.

Teaching was my second career...got my certification and started this second career when I turned 50ish.

Nothing can daunt my commitment to teens and their futures.

It was when our DD entered college that I sought full-time employment.

My first career (before marriage) centered around Medical Technology (4 yr degree at that time).

I remember you posting about having taught! What did you teach and did you like it?

Hi @LTT1

My experience wasn't full time.  At one time I taught teen girls about their bodies and pregnancy/STD prevention.  Later on, I was asked to be a guest speaker teaching a college class the basics of behavioral psych and another approach.

I think I would have liked the high school level best.  My parents wanted me to be a teacher but I went two other roads Smiley Happy

I admire your dedication to teaching, it's a fine profession.

Re: WHAT’S YOUR NEW MAJOR?

I am absolutely, positively in love with science. My highest degree was an M.S., but it was in a health field. I had a minor in biochemistry as an undergrad. Next time, I would go for a Ph.D. in biochemistry...only this time I would do research instead of go into the teaching end of it. Always wanted to be a mad scientist!Image result for mad scientist
