We are knitting prayer cloths for hospices and nursing homes. New group just started and we had an initial meet and greet today today to discuss logistics, scheduling, explained the project details. Lovely group of women - all have great sense of humor ... looks like it wll be a successful mission. It has all come together so quickly that we all believe that there has been Divine assistance!

@ALRATIBA.....Sounds like a wonderful project, and a wonderful group of devoted women, with good sense of humor.... It is wonderful that you are making things for hospice and nursing homes. Yep, sounds like a Divine assistance. Wish you all nothing but the best. Blessings on all of you.

Had a doctors appointment today, afterward my husband and I were going to food shop, but it was raining too hard so we just went home. We had left over chili and a green salad for supper. Where does the time go!

@blackhole99.....time goes going to doctors. Sorry it was raining. At least you had left over chili. That is always good with a nice green salad.

hey all

just a floating by post tonight.

dh did grocery shop tonight, very short list so he was in out of grocery store this week.

tomorrow no meat so jelly sandwiches at lunch and fish tomorrow night.

i think it has stopped raining.

Hello,

Took my mom out for lunch. Then stopped at At Home store because I needed two plant stands. Also took her grocery shopping. My niece is coming up from Tucson tomorrow to visit my mom and I. She’s bringing her two kids. I’ll be making the lunch and bringing it to my moms house. We haven’t seen them since April, so almost a year. Hope everyone has a nice evening.

@viva923....that's what caused the gust of wind I felt. LOL

It's a good thing your DH likes the grocery store.

Hope it has stopped raining there. That way you will be able to get your walk in tomorrow morning.

@Frau K....am sure your mom enjoyed going out for lunch and getting her grocrery shopping done. Have never been in a At Home store. But bet I would love it.

Enjoy your time with your niece and 2 youngins. Bet your mom will be happy to see them and visit with them. Wonder what your niece will think about your mom. A year can really make a difference in an older person. No matter, have a great time.... Have a great lunch.

Had my dinner, boy was it good. Shrimp with cocktail sauce, and one of those Green Giant frozen bags of broccoli with a Tuscany sauce. Simply delicious.

Have my grocery list all ready to go. Not sure when I want it delivered, so therefore will be holding off on sending it in. Have one of those herb roasted chickens on it, and will want it to be hot when delivered. So, that will make a difference in when I send the order in.

Well, I am wanting to go get on my jammies and turn back my bed. So, you know already what I'm going to be saying. SWEET DREAMS one and all. Blessings to you.

See you some time tomorrow. Going to see if I can sleep a little later in the morning. Got up before 8:00 this morning.

hey all

Finally the rain pushed out of here by about 8am this morn. last night the rain was so heavy i was thinking the mississippi river was flowing over us. the sky just opened up and it was a deluge.

not much else going. did get chores done this morn, prepped for tomorrow clean, got walk in.

we have very cold brisk winds sustained at 40mph and gusts are much higher. a typical nor'easter for us.
