Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

Walked Fur-Baby 3-miles today.

Painted 2 Manholes:  We have 2 manholes in our front yard near the sidewalk that the water drains into.  My husband did not like the way they looked so he painted them green to match the green lawn.  I found the paint he used so I used a wire brush and scraped off any loose paint and then wiped it cleaned.  I then brushed on a fresh coat of paint.   I kind of rolled my eyes when he said he was going to paint them; however, I must admit they do look a lot nicer than looking at the typical rusted ones.   Hooray - another thing I can now cross off my "to do" list.

Went to Aldi:    Got most of everything I needed today.  I'm new to shopping at Aldi and I wish I had gone there years ago.  They really do have a lot of great items at good prices!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

The rain water has soaked away so I finished all the raking. Our first mowing will be later this week, or early next week.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

Went for a blood draw this morning, then to grocery store, library, and pharmacy. I like to do as many things as possible so that I don't have to make several trips.

Watched my soap opera when I got home and then took a walk.

Might work on my Amazon order later, I order infrequently, probably 4 times a year.

@tansy ,  I've always been one of those people that just does best when I'm kept busy.  Not always, but majority of the time I do enjoy the projects!   Keeps me from getting myself in trouble!   Smiley Happy

Walked Fur-Baby 2.5 miles today.

Went to dentist:  Hooray, no issues found!!

Went to Walmart:  Picked up a few food items.   Also purchased 2 perennial plants and planted them.    Since they're perennials I felt they're hardy enough if we should get any frost.   I was not planning on purchasing any annuals yet, but did want to see what they had.  They had a good selection, but some of the shelves are bare.

Tomorrow taking fur-baby to his cardiologist for a chest x-ray.  He has some degenerative heart issues that require him being monitored and getting an x-ray every 6-months.

Hope the pup checks out okay, @BunSnoop. Mine is getting very old and has a heart murmur as well as occasional pancreatitis issues.

I make him low-fat meals of ground turkey, sweet potato, and rice to help him stay well. He's quite cheerful but doesn't want a long walk.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

Walked Fur-Baby about 2.5 miles.

Took Fur-Baby to Get His Chest X-ray:   Results are good.   Smiley Happy  He has an enlarged heart, but there has been no change since last x-ray.  He has to go back in 6-months for a Cardiac CT Scan.

Replaced Outdoor Solar Pathway Lights:   We replaced them a few years ago.  I've been noticing the lights are not as bright as when new.  Also, a few of them had some peeling paint.  Purchased a new set of 10 from Amazon.  I have them along the sidewalk going to the front door.  It was a pretty simple project - probably got done in abut 30 minutes.  I'll have to check them tonight to be certain they're all working.
