Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

@RetRN

Thank you for asking about me.Heart

I am doing ok  but you know how life is  and

needing to deal with it!

My oldest son was in town over the weekend  and is now in remission with his CLL cancer but still needs to finish up with his 2 months of his chemo pills.

Dr. told him he should be good for about 2 years  and by then maybe then there will be a cure for it   as every 6 months or so  new meds are avaliable.

How are you doing? Still going on small trips with your dh?

Hope soSmiley Very Happy

@viva923

I too came from a nervous, jittery family (moms side) who could've/should've been test subjects for Prozac!  Thankfully, I inherited more stubbornness and determination from dads side of the family to just deal with stuff and move on instead of dwelling on, obsessing and stressing over things.  I am glad Zoloft is helping you with your jitters as I know how difficult they can make your life.  Best wishes always.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

I have been so busy. I had not realized that I had not jumped on for the last several days.

This past Saturday, I returned an Amazon item at Kohl's and had a spa pedicure. I came home and paid some online bills. Later on that day, I met a former colleague, and we watched The Devil Wears Prada 2. Afterward, we went out for dinner. It was a nice day,

On Sunday, I attended church services, came home, did some laundry, and then met up with my life study group for our last meeting until September. We are now on our summer break. They were talking about getting together for dinner in a few weeks. I love this group; we have been together for years. I am the only person who still attends the church we all met at; everyone else has switched churches, but I don't see why we need to meet for dinner. We always eat dinner together (fellowship) before we start our study.

I am so busy at work, plus summer activities are gearing up.

Anyway, I hope that everyone enjoys their week.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

I was outside around 7:30 am this morning  in the wet grass  as temp dropped to 30's overnight..and i decided i needed to prune a few  small trees before thet grew too big!

My oldest son&and his wife  had Amazon  deliver to me 2 early
"Mothers Day gifts"  yesterday afternoonSmiley Surprised  They sent me

2 windchimes

One has several bigfoot creatures all carrying our American flag!Heart I hung it on a tree branch by my drive way.

Other one has 6 white small  solar globe balls  that in the dark  each one changes different colors.

I have   them on a shephards hook  close to my front winow  so i can watch them  all change colors...very pretty to watchHeart

Will get my walk in this afternoon after neighbor calls   me to go with her.

Its a sunny 55 degree morning now at 10am

high will be 60

  and

later isolated showers my weather app tells me today  and  possiblyFriday!

So good thing yard was mowed yesterday.

Enjoy your day with Smiley Happy andHeart
