@RetRN , thank you for your kind words.  I do best when I'm busy.   I don't do too good in the summer when it's hot and humid so I try to get a lot done during spring.  I still feel I'm "holding down the fort" to keep everything the way my husband would have wanted things to be.

Walked Fur Baby:  We went 4.75 miles today.

Cut the lawn in the back yard:  My husband often cut the grass twice a week.  I have the landscaper come once a week.  Since we've had so much rain and I had Tru Green do the fertilization of the grass, the grass is growing like crazy.   I used my push lawn mower and cut the grass,  trimmed, and blowed everything.  After that, I cleaned the underside of the lawn mower deck as the grass was a little moist and grass stuck to the bottom.   The landscaper will come Friday and cut again.   After walking back and forth in the yard, including my walk this morning with fur-baby, my Fitbit watch shows I walked over 9-miles.   I was very tired and hungry when I got done and did sit down and relaxed for awhile.

Washed Wooden Platform I Place Planter On:   I purchased a new large brown resin planter from Home Depot a few months ago.  I plan on putting it on the wooden platform.  Decided I should "freshen-up" the platform with a fresh coat of stain so I washed it today so it'll be all ready for me to do so tomorrow.

Tomorrow I need to go to Costco to pick-up a prescription.  While I'm out I may stop at Home Depot to pick up more flowers.  I think I may start planting next week.   

If you love to have flowering plants and have not already tried them, try dipladenia plants.  They're a tropical plant that's so easy to grow and flowers all summer into early fall.  They typically come in white, pink and red.

Walked Fur-Baby 3-miles today.

Went to Home Depot:  Purchased outdoor plants.  Put them in the garage as they said there may be frost Friday night into Saturday.  Hoping perhaps I'll be able to plant next week.

Went to Costco:  Went to pick-up my prescription.  While I was there I picked up toilet paper, paper towels and cut-up rotiesserie chicken. 

I also picked-up some casual tops.  There were 3 tee-shirts in a box from Banana Republic, 1 Land's End, 1 Gloria Vanderbilt, 1 Jessica Simpson and 1 Orvis.  It came to $63 (about $9 per top).    I think I did really good as QVC sells one top for the price I paid for seven!  If they last through the summer I'll be happy.  Don't need expensive tops for walking dog, running errands and staying in the house.

Today it's cool and cloudy.

We have had showers all day. Things sure are green, but I'm glad I haven't purchased any plants yet because frosty nights are predicted.

Meeting up with my 2 brothers and spouses for games and food!! Kind of like a Thursday bridge party--only no bridge! We try to do this once a month!!
