Today April 15th is my wonderful husband's birthday!! I am cooking him a special dinner and we will have his favorite dessert Carrot cake. We will go out over the weekend to celebrate again with some friends and family.....

Last month, I purchased a new 55-inch TV for my living room and moved the living room T.V. to my bedroom. Thank goodness my brother and cousin came down that Saturday to do a few things around my house for me. I met them at Costco to purchase the new set, and they handled it all. I would not have been happy to do it myself.

Rant away.

@icezeus You were so lucky to have help. I told my husband I would gladly go back to an antenna instead of the complicated job of setting up a tv for internet...it is not always an easy process, but I hope you are enjoying that new set.

Walked Fur Baby 3.5 miles today.

Yesterday finished project of washing fence. Also washed the north side of the garage as there was green mold on the siding. The muscles in my arms and the tops of my thighs are sore today. So today I think I'm going to be a little lazy.

I have over a weeks worth of newspapers to read, so I'll work on that.

Tomorrow I'm meeting a friend for lunch and to celebrate her birthday later in the month. I'm giving her several small gifts that I purchased from a site called Natural Life. If you're ever needing to purchase some gift items, I really recommend them. They have cute things at reasonable prices.

@hellie jo, I want to let you know that I have been thinking about you and miss your posts. I know you are dealing with health issues and that must come first and foremost. Please take care.

We are yet again expecting more storms later today. We have set records for rain amounts this month.

I've been staying home pretty much and enjoying reading some books from the library. Making taco soup today and watching my soap opera.
