@Cakers3 Good thoughts and prayers for you in this big life change.  It can't ever be easy, but for my mother was a relief and a really good thing after all was said and done--and I hope and pray for that for you and DH.  

You inspire me.  Someday I'll be in your situation.  Probably.  Blessings and prayers to you on your path toward this move!

I can understand when you say it will be hard letting go and going there alone.  I've been considering a life change for a while and been putting off the inevitable.  I had always envisioned our final downsizing to be the both of us doing it, not just me.

You will be busy these next weeks, but please post your progress when you have a chance.  I'm sure your lovely grandson will be a tremendous help to you 💕

Seems like February has flown by. I had an appointment at the bank this morning at 9:00. Nothing else on my schedule today.

Seems like we all dealing with one thing or another. So thankful to see people offering support to others. We never know what tomorrow may bring.

I had to chuckle with you just deciding nope this not fun, box it up and donate. :-)

I ran out earlier and purchased a hamburger and chili from Wendy's. I was too lazy to make anything for lunch, and I had not eaten all morning.

I came home and paid my bills for the upcoming week. I also had ordered a new kitchen trash can tht I opened the box and put out for use.

This past week I purchased both the Ninja Crispi, and the DREO as TSV's. This is why I don't watch QVC. Too easily tempted. :-) I have high hopes for both appliances.

Right now I am running the DREO (Water purifier) through its paces of cleaning. I have a hard time with cases of water. Lifting to put in my shopping cart then bringing into the house. Hopefully, if this lives up to the hype those days are over.

Next I need to start some laundry. Then I will sit down and watch T.V. and read my book.

March is coming in like a lamb in southern WV; 58 with some sun, not as warm or bright as yesterday, and we get cold again tonight.  My trucker daughter has started her work week, so I am back to passing the time with cleaning and lots of small tasks that need to get done.  I actually made a list to keep me on task with knocking out several things I've kept putting off.  Trucker daughter took my car to the car wash yesterday, so I won't be taking it out this week, but will take the truck if I need to go.  

Sending prayers to all friends here who are dealing with health issues and life struggles.  I've always appreciated the support and encouragement received here, which along with my faith, continues to help me move forward with each day.  I don't think my day is complete until I check in here for an update on all of you!  Hugs and prayers to all for a good week ahead!

Working in the attic again today to deal with the mess left from the last move, which never go finished.  Salvation Army here I come.  Again!

I had 3 weeks of coughing and as of yesterday  i am feeling better now.

Its sunny  and 33 degrees  and rain coming in later tonight  and through out this week.

Oldest son and his wife came up Thursday from Missouri for their grandaughters wedding..i was unable to be at the wedding  Because of my coughing

But i spent time Saturday  and yesterday  with  family  at grandaughters house them a few hours each day...they left to go back home in Mo. around 8am  this morning...a 8 hour drive!

Hoping that we can all enjoy this day that is given to us.
